Health Talks

The talks include a slide presentation, therefore a projector and screen are required.  If this is a problem, please mention when booking as the talks can also be given without visual aids.

A summary of the topics we currently cover are:

Healthy Eating

This talk provides valuable information on healthy eating.  We hear so many conflicting views in the media on what we should and should not eat. The talk is based on a number of highly regarded studies and articles which should help to remove some of the confusion.


A Healthy Heart

This talk provides an explanation about heart disease, common risk factors and how we can reduce our risk through simple lifestyle measures.  It includes surprising information about the misinformation concerning cholesterol.  


Tips for Healthy Breasts

This talk gives 12 tips on how to keep your breasts healthy with what to do and what not to do to reduce your risk of breast disease.  A more extensive talk and practical session on breast health is also available - see

As part of our service, we are able to offer a range of talks/presentations on a number of health topics.  These can be offered to local groups or companies within 25 miles of Bedford or as a webinar via Zoom.

The talks usually take 30 minutes to an hour but can be adapted to suit your meeting.

The talks are usually free for non-profit organisations, although some groups may be charged for expenses.  There is a charge for companies and more details can be requested by filling in the form at the end of the page.
Tips for a Healthy Prostate

This talk gives nine tips on how to keep your prostate gland healthy through diet and lifestyle.  It includes information on what symptoms to look out for to check early signs of prostate disease.



Food Allergy and Intolerance

This talk explains the difference between an allergy and an intolerance and gives examples of the most common foods which are responsible. It includes information on how to identify and reduce symptoms of an intolerance with the intention to re-introduce those foods, without prompting a reaction, at a later stage.  



Your Health - Your Future

This talk provides information on a variety of health issues affecting everyone living in the 21st Century.  It encourages the audience to take more responsibility for their own health in order to avoid many of the degenerative diseases so prevalent today.


Women’s Health

This talk covers many of the health issues affecting women of today including Breast Cancer, the Menopause, Osteoporosis and more.
