Pulse Health Screening offers a wide range of health screening tests, some of which may be performed in your own home.

We have carefully chosen the laboratories who perform the tests to ensure that they are reputable.  All are used by hospitals and clinics in the UK and around the world.

To view our range of tests, click on the categories on the left.  If you require a test not listed on this site, contact us and we may be able to arrange it for you.

Tests which require a venous blood sample can be taken at your surgery, by a local health practitioner or at one of the laboratories in London.  You may be required to pay an extra fee for venepuncture (taking of blood).

If you live in the Bedford area (within 25 miles), we can arrange for your sample to be taken in your home for a fee of £15.  This fee is waived if the blood sample is taken during a health screening consultation.

Full instructions for home tests are contained in the kits.  Once your sample has been taken, it should be posted to the relevant laboratory for analysis in the envelope provided, immediately.  Most samples should not be taken on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays.  Depending on the test, your results should be sent to you within three weeks.
